Milotte, Alfred (1904-1989) and Elma (1907-1989) - The husband
and wife team of
nature photographers, Alfred and Elma Milotte,
were the ones responsible for the beginning of
the True-Life Adventure series, when Walt
became entranced by their fascinating
photographic coverage of the seals on the
Pribilof Islands off Alaska. Walt continued the
happy relationship with the photographers by
sending them off into the wilds on several
continents, and they never seemed to lose their
knack of capturing on film animals in their most
beguiling moments.
