Kahl, Milt (1909-1987) - High praise of
colleagues is not common among the animation
fraternity, but an exception to that rule would be
Milt Kahl, who many regard as one of the finest
animators ever to work at the Disney Studio.
Milt, who began in 1934, served as animator, or
more often directing animator, on almost every
Disney feature from "Snow White and the Seven
Dwarfs" to "The Rescuers." Walt Disney
recognized his talents, naming him one of his
Nine Old Men in the 1950s.
