Disney, Edna Francis - Edna Disney (1890-1984), wife of Roy Disney. Edna was born as Edna Francis in 1890, and married Roy O. Disney in 1925. After Walt married Lillian, the two couples became very close friends. Her marriage to Roy was a long and happy one, and her relationship with Walt's wife, Lillian, was also very important to both of them. Even when the brothers argued, the two sisters-in-law seemed to stay on the same wavelength. In fact, Edna was known as one family member who was never afraid to tell Walt exactly what she thought of his latest idea! They had one son, Roy E. Disney. She passed away at the age of 94.
