Dailies - In a movie studio,
each day the
producers, directors and other key executives sit
down in a small screening room to watch dailies,
the film footage that was shot the previous day
and developed and processed overnight. This
way they can determine whether the film is
coming together in a way that everyone hopes
and expects. With timely viewing of dailies,
those concerned can have the opportunity to go
back and reshoot certain scenes if necessary,
while the sets are still standing and the actors are
available.
