DaGradi, Don (1911-1991)
- Starting out at
Disney as a storyman for the shorts, and later
the animated features of the 1940s and 1950s,
Don then made the transition to writing for live
action films. Walt partnered him with Bill Walsh,
and it was a great collaboration, turning out the
scripts for such films as "Son of Flubber," "Lt.
Robin Crusoe, USN," and, most importantly, the
highlight of Walt's career, "Mary Poppins."
