Concert Feature - When the
Disney staff
began work on "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," they
realized that it would be not only longer than an
average cartoon, but it would be much more
expensive also. Thus, they decided that rather
than standing alone it might be incorporated as
part of a feature film, with a working title of "The
Concert Feature," which would include animated
segments based on a number of classical pieces.
By 1940, when the film was completed, the title
had been changed to "Fantasia."
