Bon Voyage - Live-action feature film, directed by James Neilson and released in 1962. According to his family, Walt was bothered by limitations the audience put on him. He was concerned and frustrated by the fact that he couldnt do something a little off color, says son-in-law Ron Miller. When Walt tried something daring, as in this scene from 'Bon Voyage' in which Fred MacMurray is propositioned at a sidewalk cafe, Disney audiences weren't ready for this kind of fare. According to Leonard Maltin in "The Disney Films," This is perhaps the first Disney film where parents had to keep their kids quiet in the theatres, instead of the other way around.
