Benchley, Robert - Robert Benchley (1889-1945), noted comedy actor, writer and humorist. Benchley appeared in the 1941 feature 'The Reluctant Dragon' which was Walt�s first foray in live-action cinematography. The picture begins with live-action (in black & white) and then switches to animation in color. Here, Walt and Benchley are seen between takes on an exterior scene. Benchley starred in a great many Hollywood films, including "Boogie-Woogie" and "Week-End at the Waldorf" (both from 1945).
