Audio-Animatronics
- In an attempt to try
animation of three-dimensional figures at
Disneyland, Walt Disney and his staff came up
with Audio-Animatronics, which were first
utilized in The Enchanted Tiki Room in 1963
and to a greater extent at the New York
World's Fair in 1964. The human and animal
robotic figures, with movements activated
through the use of computers, as the name
indicates, combine sound, animation, and
electronics.
