Winter Wonderland

A chill has blown through Pixie Hollow! Iridessa's colorful fireflies are gone, and the Winter Wonderland party will be dark without your help! Head over to Springtime Orchard and look for the firefly sign to lend a wing. We already have lots of colorful fireflies thanks to the generous Fairies who have done their part to help this winter cause! Keep on lighting!

Firefly Light-Up High Score Badge

Light Fairy Tales

In honor of the Great Firefly Light-Up, here are some Fairy Tales about light-talents and a light-talent poem:
Once a long time ago there was a beautiful young fairy named Topaz Spiderleaf. "Topaz could you come here please?" asked her mother Amythyst Diamondheart. "One second please!" shouted Topaz in a very nervous voice. "Honey is there something wrong.?" asked her mother. "No! no no no he he." she said afraid that her mother would come in and catch her playing with her cute little light speck when told she couldn't have one. Topaz put her speck to bed and told it to stay. "Yes Momma?" she said sweetly in her light southern accent. "Honey if you can find one you can have a light speck." said her mom. "Really 'cause I kind of found a really cute one that lived in our lamp I let it free because it was trapped and the silly little thing went right under my pillow." said Topaz. "You've been taking care of it haven't you?" said Amythyst. "Yes Momma" she said. Her mother smiled and chuckled lightly. "I hoped you would." said her mom. Together they laughed and laughed and laughed. THE END

"Are you serious?" Zephyr Lightningcloud could not believe her ears. The light-talent had slept in and collided in midair with another fairy. Instead of getting mad, the fairy started babbling. Zephyr had not understood much of it, but she got the basic idea. "It's true!" insisted the fairy in front of her. "I saw it myself." As if it would prove her point, the fairy nodded her head vigorously, short red-gold braids bobbing up and down. "And...why exactly are you talking to me? I was the one acting like some insane fast-flyer and collided with you." "Omigosh! I have to get back to my work!" The fairy grinned and waved at Zephyr. "Bye!" "Um..." Zephyr watched as the other fairy flew away. "Ok. Bye." She smoothed out her skirt and continued her journey. By the time she reached her destination, it was around noon. "You're late." one of the other light-talents pointed out. "Ugh. Don't remind me." Zephyr groaned. "You would not believe what happened to me this morning..."

Once there was a shy fairy named Scarlet. Scarlet is a light talent fairy. She is very good at her talent. Almost as good as Iridessa. But she spends most of her time hiding. But then came that day. All the light talent faries used up their light energy, but Scarlet didn't. Everyone was looking for her. It was really hard to find her because all of Pixie Hollow was dark. Just then Iridessa found her and told her what happened. She said all of Pixie Hollow is counting on you. So Scarlet lit up Pixie Hollow and the fireflies. Then Scarlet wasn't shy anymore.

Laughter travels with the winds. The field whispers to the children who laugh and play. As the sun sets they are welcomed back home. Dark, night closes the day. Bright lights flicker in the forest. Fireflies perhaps, Or perhaps something else, something magical. The never fairies come out to change the seasons. With their glow lighting up the trees, their wings flutter in the cold breezes of the night.

Hi Sienna! That log you saw for a short while in Maple Tree Hill was actually a sneak preview of Fawn's Hideaway! She moved it out of the way for now while the art-talents put the finishing touches on the sign for the entrance, but it will return when it's time for Fairies to help Tinker Bell and her friends on quests! I hope you'll get a chance to fly back and visit her then!

Dear Tabby, I heard some fairies talking about leaving for the mainland to change Autumn to Winter. I wanted to ask you if we will really leave for the mainland for winter! I hope to fly with you soon! Everybody, I hope you will have a magical winter and a happy new year! Rose XXX

Fly with you Rose! Lots of Fairies do leave to change the seasons on the mainland, but there is also a lot to do right here in the Hollow! We have to make sure there are enough supplies and good cheer sprinkled around to help change the seasons successfully. Have you been collecting ingredients and playing talent games to help out? I bet you have! Hope you have a very happy and "cool" winter!
