Almost 2 months after the day of costumes and masks, an elderly woman, Mrs Kylie Robinson, spotted what she thought was a man in a costume in her yard, but upon closer inspection, the costumed 'monster' growled at her with a vicious fanged growl and swiped at her with a huge claw before running off into the woods behind Mrs. Robinson’s house.  Is this someone playing a horrible joke on the elderly in fair Eastland?  Is it a lost dog? Is it a  ##real 'monster'## ? Local authorities are investigating, but so far have turned up no evidence of a creature roaming the woods. An unnamed source from Hall Industries said that “a merger or buy out would NEVER happen.  Mr. Hall would never allow the jewel of his empire to be tarnished by a spoiled, arrogant boy with issues.”  Many of you may remember Xero’s run in with the feds when he attempted to hack into the United States Treasury to rewire its savings to his own, personal Swiss piggy bank. ##The relationship between T. Abner Hall and Xero has been a subject of scrutiny for years.## Many have speculated that they had worked together in the past and their split was less than friendly.]]></item>

It has come to my attention that Charles has been spending much of his free time plating video games. His final language arts paper was on ‘How Video Games Will Change the World’. While I understand the fascination and even enjoy a game or two of Pac-Man every once in a while myself, this is bordering on obsession. You and I both know that video games will in no way ‘change the world’. They are a diversion. A frivolous past time that mocks the day to day studies and accomplishments of hard working individuals all over the world. I ask you to discuss Charlie’s future plans with him, and help him to navigate a career path that will use his aptitudes in computer science and physical fitness to really change the world. 	<item id="secret_doc_6"><![CDATA[<b><font size="14">How Video Games Will Change the World</font><br>By Charlie Landers.</b><br><br>From the sawn of the digital revolution….PONG….the world has been fascinated with the video games. Out culture has grown alongside Mario and Sonic, and into a new generation with Master Chief, Kratos and the Guitar Heroes. Video games have, and will continue to be at the leading entertainment revolution.<br><br>Let us start at the beginning. Way back into the 1980’s when kids my age would stand in line for hours at strip mall arcades! Here in these dark holes-in-the walls, hundreds of kids would spend days, and all of their hard earned money (cashed into quarters) to chase ghosts, jump barrels, dodge cars and align blocks into rows. The Arcade led to the home entertainment system and almost overnight a second revolution began. A new element was brought into the work of gamming – the family. Mum, Dad, little brother could all sit around the family console television and with a joystick or paddle and dodge millions of descending Martians for hours.<br><br>The prehistoric 8-bit graphics must have seemed like hi-tech futuristic mysticism back then. When Nintendo came on the scene, for the first time you could SHOOT at your television! And once graphics got better everything else started to get better too. The race for advancing technology began – and not only in the world of gaming. This is my first point for how video games changed the world. Now companies began challenging themselves and each other to accelerate technology. One by one, new tech was debuted that just out did the latest advancement and the time between them got shorter and shorter. Cut to today, entire universes live within the digital landscape. People don’t just ‘play games’ they live in virtual worlds, live dual lives, and fulfil deep needs in cyber space.<br><br>All signs point to video games breaking down more of the social stigmas and solving problems that we can take into the real world. Imagine if we all stopped shooting and started dance offs? Or what if we discovered that there were in fact alternate realities travelling to them could solve many of the world issues like hunger or war!<br><br>Who knows? Video games can be used to portray real world problems and help devise real world solutions. The possibilities are endless. The future hasn’t been written but the past is clear. Video games are shaping society like never before and the world will only improve as video games thrive.]]></item>
